Kairos Climate Security specializes in addressing the complex challenges associated with the intersection of climate change and security by providing training and leadership expertise to government agencies, the private sector, and non-profits. Why Kariros?
"Kairos" is an ancient Greek word that refers to the opportune or critical moment for action. Unlike chronos (χρÏŒνος), which signifies chronological or sequential time, kairos (καιρÏŒς) represents the right, decisive, or meaningful moment when circumstances align for impactful change. At Kairos Climate Security we believe that now is the critical moment to address the security threats that climate change poses to U.S. communities and overall global stability:
